Your primary child participates in the NSD Classroom Music program. We sing; read rhythms, play instruments and study composers of the past.
Recorders Instruction for 3rd grade
Dear Parent of Third Grade Recorders,
Our NSD 3rd Graders have really taken off on their recorders. Hopefully, you have heard practicing at home.
Chorus
Chorus classes will be at your school every week on the following days:
Mondays: Wiley Cyn and Newhall
Tuesdays: Meadows and McGrath
Wednesdays: Old Orchard and Valencia Valley
Thursdays: Stevenson Ranch and Pico Canyon
Fridays: Oak Hills and Peachland
Please check with your school office calendar for the exact dates.
PERFORMANCES:
All Chorus students perform at the Winter Concert and at the Spring Concert. Chorus students also perform at school assemblies.
Orchestra
Classes meet at the schools on these days, at the times listed below:
McGrath: Thursday morning
Meadows: Wednesday morning
Newhall: Thursday afternoon
Old Orchard : Tuesday afternoon
Peachland: Monday afternoon
Pico Canyon: Wednesday afternoon
Stevenson Ranch: Friday afternoon
Valencia Valley: Tuesday morning
